Snead State Community College's Annual Spring Concert will be held Friday, April 15, at 7 p.m. at the Bevill Center Concert Hall.

The concert will feature performances by Snead State's College Street Singers, Chorus, Jazz Band, Guitar Ensemble, and music students.

Hospice of Marshall County is always in need of special people who want to share of themselves with others in various ways.

Mr. Andi Duckett's 6th grade class at Evans Elementary in Albertville took 1st in state in the Disney Planet Challenge. They began the nationwide environmental project in November and finished in February.

The Disney Planet Challenge focuses on environmental issues around the world. The class brainstormed first and chose to focus on how to recycle plastic grocery bags. The students researched for weeks about different ways to reuse and recycle plastic bags and found many ways.
