Boaz man arrested on theft charges | Crime

A Boaz man was arrested in Etowah County on theft charges.

36-year-old Jeremy Wayne Turner was charged with unlawful breaking and entering a vehicle, second degree theft of property and obstructing governmental operations after deputies said he broke into a vehicle on Thornhill Road Wednesday.

Officials said Turner stole CDs, a bowling bag and bowling ball.

Investigators questioned Turner and he admitted he was at the residence where the vehicle was broken into.

He was released from the Etowah County Jail on $6,000 bond.
