Sex offender found living with former victim | Crime

A convicted sex offender was arrested Tuesday after he allegedly moved without telling police.

The Marshall County Sheriff’s department discovered 26-year-old Justin Norton had moved from his registered home in Albertville to a location in Boaz, and he had not notified authorities.

They also discovered his former victim was living at the same Boaz location.

Norton was convicted of sexual abuse and rape in 2011.

Deputies arrested Norton and charged him with contact with former victim and failure to transfer residence. He is being held on no bond.
