Albertville man charged with rape, sexual torture of children | Crime

A Marshall County man is jailed on a $1-million bond for allegedly raping two young girls then fleeing the state.

Carlos Peralta, 27, of Albertville, is facing two counts each of rape, sodomy, sex abuse, and a count of sexual torture.

Prosecutors said the charges deal with an 11 and 9-year-old over a two year period.

Peralta was extradited from Florida and was taken to the Marshall County Jail.
