Weekend drug raid lands two in Boaz Jail | Crime

Boaz Police took two people in to custody during a Saturday night raid at a home on Elm Street.

Investigators say they got a tip that 44 year old James Hester was cooking meth at the house. Officers showed up and discovered an active shake and bake meth lab set up in the kitchen, along with several meth making ingredients nearby.

Hester was charged with drug manufacturing and possession.

A woman in the home, 28 year old Tara Fouche was charged with illegal prescription drug possession.

Both are being held in the Boaz City Jail. Marshall County drug agents were called to the scene to clean up the house.
