MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- City and county authorities assist in a federal drug trafficking roundup in Marshall County that put four people behind bars.

The federal indictment was unsealed Tuesday by a federal judge alleging four people were involved in federal drug trafficking of methamphetamine.

Christian Corrales is expected to be taken from the Marshall County Jail into federal custody Wednesday afternoon.

Also picked up were Jimmy Dale Scott, Jr., Brandon Glenn McCollum, and Antonio Soriano.

A federal indictment alleges the four men being involved in a trafficking operation of 50 grams of methamphetamine during a nine month operation from January through September of 2011.

The operation culminated with the indictment of all four men this spring and filed under sealed indictment last month.

Federal officials also note in the indictment plans to seize assets used by the defendants in the drug trade if convicted.

Federal officials say Corrales is due before a federal judge at 9:30 Thursday morning.
