Marshall County man arrested for drug trafficking | News
MARSHALL COUNTY, AL (WAFF)- A Boaz man was arrested after a month-long investigation into the distribution of methamphetamine in Marshall County.
Marshall County authorities arrested 38-year-old Tomas Ramirez Poulino Thursday evening. He was charged with three counts of trafficking meth and two counts of distribution of meth.
During the investigation, drug agents seized and automobile, more than $12,000 in cash, a handgun and about one pound of meth.
Poulino was booked into the Marshall County Jail on a $5-million bond. His immigration status is being checked through ICE.
Agents from Marshall County Drug Enforcement Unit, Albertville Police, FBI and Marshall County Sheriff's Office participated in the investigation.
