Man found guilty of manslaughter after killing man with vehicle
News
Joshua Phillips was found guilty of manslaughter.

It took a jury less than two hours to decide on a verdict in the case of a Marshall County man charged with murdering his wife's ex-husband.

The jury found Joshua Andrew Phillips guilty of manslaughter.

Phillips is charged with the October 2010 murder of 45-year-old Albert "Jerry" Sanford.

Prosecutors said Phillips drove to a mobile home where his wife was and got into an argument with Sanford and then ran over him with his truck just outside of the home.

Sanford died from his injuries.

The defense claimed what happened that night was just an accident.

Sentencing for Phillips will be September 24.
