BRANDON, Miss. (AP) - An Alabama man is in custody
on several charges after passing a Mississippi deputy on I-20 at a speed
in excess of 100 miles per hour early Sunday.

According to reports, 29-year-old Govan Brandon Mills, Boaz, Ala., is being held at the
Rankin County Jail on charges of felony fleeing of a marked police car,
possession of stolen property, DUI, open container, no driver's license,
no insurance and reckless driving.

Sheriff Bryan Bailey said a deputy tried to stop
the vehicle, driven by Mills, at the downtown Brandon exit and it
continued west on I-20.

The chase continued to Warren County where officers stop the vehicle. After a short foot pursuit, Mills was arrested.

It was unclear whether Mills has an attorney.
